I was born and raised in Helena, Montana. I went to college at West Point and attended law school at the University of Oregon. After beginning my legal career, tragedy pushed me to go to work for NAMI Montana. It's a challenging position, but I'm honored to have the opportunity to fight for the one-in-five Montana families affected by serious mental illness.
I own Mean Monkey Sports and have been quietly working on virtual reality technology through that company. I also write. Please take a look at my novels, Looking for Answers Through Dirty Glasses and Sleeping Giant. I'm fortunate to serve on the board of the Uganda Rural Fund. I've been really blessed to have the opportunity to try and impact some of the causes I care about all around the world.
None of those challenges compares to trying to keep up with my wife and three young kids. They keep me young and turn me gray/bald all at the same time.
